Pencycle have historically serviced and overhauled heavy machinery such as turbines, compressors, pumps, generators and pumps throughout Africa and the Middle East. We are able to offer an immediate solution to any situation that you may encounter.

Field Service

Tailor made preventative maintenance programmes to ensure that optimal availability of the equipment is achieved and that the occurrence of failure is extremely rare. A preventative maintenance package is structured according to manufacturers’ recommendations depending on working hours and operating conditions. Following borescope inspection, fluid sample, balancing analysis etc, maintenance work is carried out following detailed procedures to ensure smooth operation until the next maintenance program.

Corrective Maintenance

In a breakdown situation Pencycle offer immediate engineering assistance via our team of engineers who will offer advice/overhaul options in minimal timescale.

Following equipment shutdown, the engine, control gear and ancillary items will be removed from site and shipped back to our UK facility. Once in the UK the equipment will undergo a rigorous and thorough inspection and cleaning program prior to the issue of a detailed inspection report, schedule of work and our pricing proposal. Dependant on our clients’ instructions the repair process will involve repair or replacement of damaged and worn parts. The unit may also be upgraded if required. All units will be fully re-assembled and balanced prior to running tests. Following successful witnessed run tests, the packages are re-certified and returned to the client where they can be installed and commissioned by our own fully trained staff. Once installed our staff will remain present for the start-up tests and eventual handover.
